Do I need an Asbestos Survey?
Short of vaguely knowing how old your property is, most homeowners and property owners do not know whether asbestos is present or not when they call us. How our Asbestos Surveys in Surrey work
Contrary to popular belief, not every survey results in the presence of asbestos, and not every identified piece of asbestos needs to undergo the full removal service. As part of our commitment to local residents and property owners, we operate under two main survey types:
- Asbestos management survey, to identify, locate, and assess asbestos to understand its condition. The main goal of this survey is to understand the stability of any asbestos in the building and determine is occupation will disturb or cause it to breakdown and release its harmful fibres into the air.
- Asbestos refurbishment / demolition survey, which is designed to locate asbestos and remove it in its entirety prior to major works being carried out on the property.
