Dartford Golf Club, founded in 1897, is a private members’ golf club owned and operated by members who cherish traditional courtesies and ideals. The course is a gently undulating heathland/parkland course that, despite its short length, provides an entertaining challenge to players of all handicaps.
In 1936, James Braid, a five-time Open Champion, redesigned the course. The 16th hole is named after Braid, which is one of Kent’s most difficult Par 3 courses at 245 yards and an uphill green!
The course is well-protected by tree-lined fairways and tiny greens, making the entire layout suitable for precise golfers.
